Post RERA and other measures, the real estate sector is witnessing focus on completion of projects rather than on launches, which means the developers have changed their approach amid changing market dynamics. At the time when the government is coming out with a slew of measures for real estate, this aspect seems a bit odd. However this is in line with the latest thought process of the realtors which they should focus on completing the projects at hand first.
Realtors feel that this change in approach has a lot to do with the implementation of RERA, which has enhanced the buyers’ trust in the market. This trust has made the developers to work more towards improving this relation and delivering the projects at hand is one such move.
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Chairman – ASSOCHAM National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development, Founder and Chairman – Signature Global India Pvt. Ltd. said, “After RERA, things have changed for good at a faster rate. Foremost thing that has happened is the buyer confidence has increased and they are now only going for the developers of repute, who have lived in delivering quality projects on time. And with this focus of developers has also shifted to completing and delivering projects as soon as possible.”
