TDR policy to boost civic infra in New Gurgaon



Gurgaon administration will proactively put the Transfer of Development (TDR) policy to use to upgrade civic infrastructure in New Gurgaon.

The civic infrastructure has been posing a challenge for lakhs of residents living in hundreds of housing societies in New Gurgaon. The improper road connectivity and inadequate power and water supply, besides poor social infra has been impacting residents there. But now, authorities have decided to extensively make use of TDR Policy to tackle land acquisition delays hampring infra development. Already about 3 dozen sectors have been provided piped water supply and one dozen more will get it before August 15. The work to provide 33KV feeders to augment power supply in New Gurgaon sectors is also being expedited.
