With the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) getting ready to start Rs 230 crore SPR upgradation work, the stage is set for big connectivity boost to Gurugram real estate in general and real estate along NH8, Sohna Road and Dwarka Expressway in particular.
GMDA’s plan is to construct three flyovers and two underpasses to make SPR signal free. Except for the underpass at Vatika Chowk along with widening and strengthening of the road to be constructed by NHAI, all other construction work will be undertaken by GMDA. These infra projects will come up between Ghata and Vatika Chowk, NPR’s busiest junction The work on the upgradation of SPR will start by December this year and will be completed within one and a half years.

The faster connectivity will further speed up real estate development along SPR, Sohna Road, Dwarka Expressway, NH8 and also improve the living quotient”
