With the general elections getting over, The Sohna Road up gradation work , pertaining to the six- laning of this hot residential and commercial corridor of Gurugram is all set to gain momentum once the new government takes charge at the Centre.
The work on the Sohna elevated road project will pick up in real sense once the encroachments along this road in Badshahpur village get over.Though National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has issued notices to land owners for removing encroachments, yet they may well have to resort to demolition to pave way for the construction of elevated road. NHAI is upgrading the 21km long Sohna Road in two parts. In first part an elevated road is to be built from Subhash Chowk to point beyond Badshahpur. The part two will comprise of expanding the road from Badshahpur to Sohna with the construction of flyovers and underpasses.
Says Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global, ” The work on Sohna Road was affected with polls. Now that the polls are over, the work should gain pace with the formation of the new government. Once this Rs 1300 crore project gets completed, it will provide a big connectivity boost to the residential and commercial real estate along the corridor.
