Six- lane road link with NH8 to aid connectivity with Dwarka Expressway.

The recent proposal of the Centre to upgrade the existing two- lane road from Hero Honda Chowk on NH8 to Dwarka Expressway into a six-lane signal- free stretch will provide the much needed connectivity boost to Dwarka Expressway.

This proposed national highway starting from Hero Honda Chowk to be built at the cost of Rs 80 crore ,will cross Umang Bhardwaj Chowk and Basai Chowk before meeting Dwarka Expressway. Both NHAI and GMDA will be responsible for the construction. This carriageway will have six lanes on both sides of it, with flyovers to be built over Umang Bhardwaj Chowk and Basai Chowk, in addition to an underpass on Khandsa Road.

Says Pradeep Aggarwal, Chairman, Signature Global, ” This road link when completed , will pave way for faster connectivity with airport as well as potential residential and commercial hubs. This in turn will open up new avenues for reall estate development and growth”.
