Rapid Rail Project gains momentum, Gurgaon realty to gain



The land allotment for the depot of Delhi-Gurugram-SNB RRTS has expedited the process for its construction, holding hope for realty boost in Gurgaon.

The Haryana government has allotted 31 hectares of land at Dharuhera for the RRTS depot, required for the operation and maintenance of the entire network. The process for handing over the remaining land to National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is being expedited. Also, the proposal for transferring land in Udyog Vihar for casting yards is being accelerated. NCRTC is developing the 107-kilometre Delhi-Gurugram-Behror section of the rapid rail network, with 8 stations in Gurgaon. The NCRTC will undertake the project in three phases. The first phase will touch various regional nodes of Gurugram, Manesar, Panchgaon and Rewari, which implies that real estate in the sectors of new Gurugram will get a boost. Signature Global has various projects in sector 95 of new Gurugram which will get richer connectivity wise. The construction of RRTS work will start next year.

Especially the real estate in New Gurgaon sectors on Gurgaon -Jaipur route will get a boost.
