As we all know that COVID-19 has affected the global economy but the realty sector has found the solution to overcome the impact. The momentum of affordable housing has picked up the pace and will surely hit the sale of affordable housing with buyers deferring home purchases post this pandemic. Now homebuyers do not have to make much effort to purchase a house because most of the people have accepted digital ways and are looking for Virtual tours. Everything starting from site visits to registry is digitally designed. Those who had not even thought of purchasing a house till last year are now planning to have their own house.
Another cherry on the cake for this is the PMAY scheme, which is proven to be the best and successful schemes among all the housing schemes initiated by the government. Under the PMAY-Housing for All mission/scheme, approx 1.15 crore units have already been delivered till the date, this happens as there is a direct involvement of the PMO. 50% of Signature Global customers have availed the PMAY scheme till date. There are many developers and even Signature Global didn’t get distracted because of the pandemic and successfully launching their projects even in this lockdown. On the other hand, Signature Global has successfully launched 17,471 units till date and aiming to launch more.
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman – Signature Global Group & Chairman – ASSOCHAM National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development, says, “The pandemic has made people understand the importance of owning a home because ‘Apna Ghar Apna hi hota hai’ and now developers are adopting different ways to interact with the home-buyers and seeking for their preferences at the priority. Last but the least, our aim is to serve at least 1 lakh units to the nation by 2022 to achieve the Housing for All mission.
