New inter-state bus stand to provide connectivity boost to Dwarka Eway

The latest proposal of the Haryana Roadways earmarking land for the proposed ISBT near Dwarka Eway, may well prove to be a big connectivity booster for New Gurgaon.

Haryana Roadways has initiated the process for acquiring 15 acres of land out of 100 acres lying with Haryana Infrastructure & Industrial Development Corporation near Dwarka Eway for public utility. The existing 60-year-old bus stand in a crowded old city is in a dilapidated condition and fails to cater to the needs of fast expanding city. A couple of years back, the state government had decided to build a new bus stand on public- private partnership. But the proposal could not move forward as the part of the land identified  at Rajiv Chowk was required  for the proposed Metro Station. The new location identified by Roadways is not  just close to Dwarka Eway but also to Southern Peripheral Road. The work on the new ISBT may well be taken up this year following preparation of DPR, once the land proposal gets a nod. This development will add to the smooth connectivity to the buyers of Signature Global’s residential and commercial projects in sector 37D, 81, 92, 93 and specially sector 95 where Signature Global Aspire is open for bookings till 18th April 21  under Affordable Housing Policy.

Says Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global Group and Chairman , Assocham, National Council on Real Estate, Housing & Urban Development, ” Close on the heels of Highway Minister, Nitin Gadkari’s announcement about completing Dwarka Eway by early 2022, this is a positive  development. Not just for the residents of Dwarka Eway but for the residents of entire New Gurgaon. This ,together with the proposed extension of Metro Line towards Dwarka Eway and on NH8 towards Manesar, will provide a big connectivity boost to New Gurgaon. This in turn will help speed up real estate growth there”.
