Nearly one lakh residents of various group housing societies in sectors 81- 98 are set to get potable water connectivity boost around Diwali , significantly contributing to ease of living.
The residents of about five dozen housing projects in these sectors have been living without potable piped water and have been dependent on water tankers for their drinking water needs.According to Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) which is undertaking the project to lay water pipelines in these sectors , the residents deprived of potable drinking water for five years, will finally get connectivity with Chandu Budhera Water Treatment Plant. This has been made possible by removing the hurdle of laying 400 metre water pipeline below Delhi-Rewari railway line, connecting Sector 98.
Says Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman Signature Global, ” Potable piped drinking water is a basic necessity in daily life. The piped water connectivity to sectors in new Gurgaon will not only improve the living standard of the residents but also make property in these sectors more attractive”.
