Metro extension to boost Gurgaon realty



The new tweaked DPR for Metro extension will improve livability index by providing connectivity boost to Gurgaon realty.

The Metro extension plan in Gurgaon that was in limbo has got a fresh boost. GMDA( Gurgaon Metropolitan Development Authority) has given its accent to the revised Detailed Project Report(DPR). As per the new DPR, Metro will connect Huda City Centre to Old Gurgaon via Subhash Chowk and Hero Honda Chowk. Further, Metro will reach Sector 9A, Sector 4-5 , Palam Vihar, Udyog Vihar to connect with Rapid Metro at Cyber City. One new station has been added at Sector 47 between Huda City Centre and Subhash Chowk. in two separate nodes, Metro will reach Sector 100 from sector 9A to connect Dwarka ExpressWay and from Palam Vihar to Dwarka Sector 21. The DPR has been sent to Haryana Finance Ministry for approval. The work on the Extension Line will begin in the next 2-3 quarters and it will become operational by 2025..

With this metro extension, Dwarka Expressway will get connected to Gurgaon Metro hub at Huda City Centre. Dwarka Expressway will also be linked with the Delhi Metro Blue Line at Dwarka Sector 21. This will provide a much needed connectivity boost to Gurgaon realty. As connectivity that improves livability is a key consideration for buying property, Metro extension will boost city realty.
