The clearance of land hurdle in Rangpuri will resume construction on the Delhi portion of Dwarka Eway, leading to its early completion.
The completion of 29 km Dwarka Eway has been facing land hurdles for the past 11 years in its Gurgaon and Delhi portion. The work on this expressway also known as Northern Peripheral Road had started in 2009. The alignment of NPR starts from Shiv Murti and ends at Kherki Daula on NH8. Delhi High Court has now removed the land hurdle in Rangpuri , Delhi. It has ordered land owners to hand over 1 3.9 acres of land to NHAI for resumption of the construction of Dwarka Eway. The last deadline given by the NHAI for the completion of Eway was 2021.
Says Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global and Chairman, Assocham National Council on Real Estate, Housing & Urban Development, ” This development will facilitate early resumption and completion of Dwarka Eway. This eway is a lifeline for New Gurgaon sectors, falling along it and along NH8. Its completion will reduce congestion and improve mobility on Delhi- Gurgaon Eway. This will in turn boost connectivity within Gurgaon and with Delhi. This in turn will enhance livability and improve buyers sentiment .
