The setting up of civil terminal at the Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad to start domestic flights across different regional locations in India, is set to provide a major connectivity boost to Ghaziabad real estate. The new civil terminal spread over 3500 square meters is built at a cost of 45.2 crore rupees. The terminal is built by the Airport Authority of India under UDAN Scheme to boost regional air connectivity. It will facilitate flights on various routes including Lucknow- Hindon- Kolkata- Jorhat, Hindon- Bhopal- Ozar(Nasik), Hindon- Jaisalmer- Udaipur, Hindon- Gorakhpur- Allahabad, Hindon- Allahabad- Kolkata, Hindon- Kannur, Ozar- Hindon and Tirupati- Hubli- Hindon. Says Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global, ” Connectivity plays a big role in boosting real estate. Ghaziabad has already made achievements in terms of road and rail connectivity with Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Elevated Road from UP Gate to Raj Nagar Extension and Metro Rail. And this has helped it to emerge as a hot affordable housing destination of NCR, besides coming up as a commercial real estate hub, complete with shopping malls, hotels, offices, educational and healthcare facilities. And now on top of this the air connectivity will push up Ghaziabad realty still further. Our shopping mall in Vaishali launched last year and the upcoming mega affordable housing project in Raj Nagar Extension will get a major push with the connectivity boost”.
