After Dwarka Expressway, there will be another feather for Gurugram Realty Market that the Haryana Government has recently proposed two film cities, one in Gurugram and one in Pinjore in recent budget speech by Chief Minister Manohal Lal Khattar. A lot of developers had constructed the projects around the upcoming Dwarka expressway and the announcement of Film City will increase the demand further.
The state government has been working on developing a film city for the last two years and, in 2018, it came up with a film policy for Haryana to boost local production and provide latest facilities to filmmakers from across the country, who want to produce films in the state. Earlier on January 15, the CM had announced the plan to develop a film city and said that project would be developed on the basis of a public-private partnership. And this decision of Haryana Government eventually boosts the demand of real estate sector further.
Mr Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global Group, Chairman, ASSOCHAM, National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development, says, “Such announcements of major developments for the region brings lots of positive momentum in developments and investments and we hope that work on this projects starts soon. The decision to set up a film city will be always welcomed by the developers and a region based businessman. Moreover it is a positive impact on the real estate market which will also make provisions for a single window clearance system and will generate employment opportunities. ”
