Gurgaon Metro Extension boost a good sign for city realty

The recent push to the Gurgaon Metro extension project by the Union  Housing Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri will provide wings to it, with a promising impetus to the city’s real estate growth.

 The recent high level meeting between the Union Housing Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri and Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar along with Gurgaon MP, Rao Inderjit Singh , has cleared the decks for the much awaited Gurgaon Metro extension project. The approved DPR of the project with minor changes to be carried in it in line with Housing Ministry norms, will pave the way for the construction of the project stuck for long. The construction is expected to begin towards the end of the year.  The Rs 6400 crore   project will have a  31  km loop line connecting Huda City Centre Metro Station with the Cyber City station. In all there will be 26 metro stations on this line . They include Sector 45, Cyber Park, Sector 46, Sector 47, Sector 48, Technology Park, Udyog Vihar Phase 6, . The stations across the highway in Old Gurgaon include  Sector 10, Sector 37, , Basai, Sector 9, sector 7, Sector 4, Sector 5, Ashok Vihar, Sector 3, Krishna Chowk, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, Sector 23A, Sector 22, Udyog Vihar Phase 4 and 5. 

 Says Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global and Chairman Assocham National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development, ” This is a much awaited and welcoming development on the infrastructure front. This will provide  connectivity/mobility boost to both New and Old Gurgaon. This will further help speed up the real estate growth of much sought after corridors of South of Gurgaon and Dwarka Expressway .
