GMDA’s new action plan to scale up infra to boost New Gurugram realty

The Gurugram Metropolitan  Development Authority’s (GMDA) plan to
involve   real estate developers in allocating funds for upgrading
civic infra in newly developed sectors will boost real estate in New Gurugram.

GMDA is initiating dialogue with developers with regard to their settlement plans of their ongoing and upcoming projects so that these projects can be aligned with the state’s budget plans for 2020-21.GMDA has a number of infrastructure projects in pipeline in Sectors 58-115 in New Gurugram. These projects relate to piped water, power, sewer,
roads, metro rail, bus service, hospitals   GMDA’s action plan
includes upgradation of the flagship Southern Peripheral Road.

Says Pradeep Aggarwal, Chairman, Assocham National Council  on Real Estate, Housing & Urban Development and Founder & Chairman of Signature Global, ” GMDA’s new initiative with regard to revamping civic infra in New Gurugram in consultation with developers is a positive move which will lead to better coordination for the development of basic infra which has been lacking in New Gurugram.
This will help  turn New Gurgaon property attractive for buyers/investors, in turn aiding real estate growth .
