Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is working on a comprehensive plan to plug the missing road links in newly developed sectors which are a major sore point for the residents of these sectors in New Gurgaon.
As part of this plan, GMDA has made a beginning from high potential Sector 65 by according it a status of a model sector. Since the non availability of land is a major hindrance to construct internal roads in these sectors, GMDA’s plan revolves around taking effective measures to tackle this bottleneck. In Sector 65, it is going ahead with the appointment of a nodal officer to coordinate with landowners to make 6.5 acres of land required for the construction of internal roads here.
The landowners will be offered reasonable compensation underTransfer of Development Rights(TDR), land pooling, land consolidation and sale of land through the e-bhoomi portal.GMDA is hopeful that through these land acquisition models , the nodal officer will be able to acquire about a dozen patches of land required for the completion of the internal roads in Sector 65 , a premium locality situated at Golf Course Extension Road.
GMDA is hopeful of the success of its plan which it wants to implement in other sectors from Sector 58 to Sector 115, where non availability is holding up the construction of internal sector roads. The success of GMDA’s plan will pave the way for organised development of real estate in New Gurgaon . It will not only improve the quality of life of the residents in the New Gurgaon sectors but also provide connectivity boost to the growth of real estate in New Gurgaon .
