The foundation stone for the six-lane 59-km access-controlled road stretch from the Western Peripheral Expressway (WPE) near Sohna to Ring Road near the DND flyway will be laid by a top official. This will bring Manesar closer to the National Capital and connect India’s national and financial capitals thereby reducing the travel time between the two cities from 20 hours to 12 hours.
This access-controlled expressway is being built under the Bharatmala Pariyojna Programme and the work for this project is anticipated to start this month. Traversing 40 locations simultaneously, this project is planned in four phases and will probably take three years for its completion; while the work on two stretches – the Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur stretch and Vadodara-Mumbai stretch has already started.
The Expressway will start from Rajiv Chowk in Gurgaon linking Ring Road of Delhi to Jaipur, Alwar and further Sawai Madhopur and finbally reach Mumbai via Vadodara and will also connect major cities and districts namely Delhi, Gurgaon, Mewat, Kota, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodara, Surat, Dahisar and Mumbai. This Expressway will not only benefit the common people, but also the real estate sector. The properties in Sohna region will get a boost with this expressway as it’ll bring in more industries and residential units in the region making it a major realty hub.
Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder and Chairman, Signature Global says, “The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will benefit a number of states and majorly the real estate sector. The Expressway will capture the aim of the developers to build more properties in that region consequently booming the realty market. As for Signature Global, we’re soon launching Premium Floors in the Sohna district of South Gurugram.”
