The recent opening of the 22 kilometer phase 3 section of the 82 kilometer Delhi- Meerut Expressway connecting Dasna and Hapur has laid the ground for further development of affordable housing in NCR towns of Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut.
Prior to the opening of phase 3 (Dasna to Hapur) of the Rs 8346 crore Delhi- Meerut Expressway,Phase 1 of the Eway from Akshardham to UP Gate was thrown open in May last year. The development of the entire expressway is divided into four phases. The work on the Phase 2 of the expressway from UP Gate to Dasna is 60% complete while the work on phase 4 connecting Dasna to Meerut is about 57% complete. The entire Delhi- Meerut expressway is expected to be complete by March 2020.
