Canal water supply to boost realty in South of Gurgaon

The recent decision of the Director, Department of Town & Country Planning (DTCP), Haryana to provide government water supply to the residents of new projects that have come up in South of Gurgaon (Sohna) will vastly improve the infrastructure  landscape of the area, in turn giving boost to real estate along this high growth corridor.

K M Padurang, Director, DTCP , Haryana  has directed senior officials of DTCP, Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikaran and other stakeholders to work out modalities to make canal water available to residents of colonies developed by private developers in South of Gurgaon. The residents who had paid hefty External Development Charges (EDC) & Internal Development Charges(IDC) had been waiting for authorities to undertake development works and provide basic amenities like drinking water. According to DTCP, water supply would be first provided to projects that are completed or nearing completion.

Says Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman , Signature Global, ” Drinking water supply, electricity are the basic necessities of residents. The supply of drinking water to private colonies in South of Gurgaon after a long wait, will not only elevate the infrastructure index of the area but also  boost the investment quotient of South of Gurugram where we also have an affordable housing project –  Signature Global Serenas , besides Signature Global Park project of premium floors in Sector 36, Sohna”.
